Shanna Snow is joining HLS with over a decade of experience in architectural lighting design. Holding a Master’s degree from Parsons School of Design, Shanna has developed a unique approach that seamlessly blends form and function, recognizing the profound influence lighting has on emotions and spatial experiences. Her journey as an architectural lighting designer is marked by a dedication to excellence and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of what lighting can achieve in the built environment.

For the past six years, she has led her own successful lighting design company in Nashville, spearheading high-profile projects, including boutique hotels, religious institutions, and hospitality venues. Notable works include Vanderbilt University and the Chattanooga Airport, each showcasing her talent for creating inviting and inspiring environments.

Before establishing her business in Nashville, Shanna honed her skills and expertise in New York City, working on a variety of projects that helped shape her career and design philosophy. Her extensive experience in diverse settings has equipped her with the ability to adapt and innovate, ensuring that each project she undertakes is tailored to its unique context and needs.

Driven by a deep passion for creating spaces that are visually stunning and psychologically impactful, Shanna’s designs are a testament to her belief in the power of lighting to transform environments and enhance human experiences. Shanna strives to be the supportive conduit that brings architecture to life through light, believing that thoughtful lighting design is essential to realizing the full potential of any architectural space.
